    Produced by County Down singer/harper, Brona McVittie, Sé features close-harmony arrangements of songs in Irish, Scots Gaelic, Manx, Welsh, Cornish and Breton dialects, brought to life through the dulcet tones of Alli Buhagiar, Sonja Byrne and Ciara Holland. The languages of the six Celtic nations evolved as branches of ‘old Celtic’, spoken millenia ago by tribes who lived, loved and laboured across Europe from the British Isles to Gallatia. The group brings new life to old Celtic songs about one-horned cows and gigolos, blackbirds and bogeymen, drinking and debauchery, ardor and arable farming.

    Includes immediate download of 12-track album in your choice of MP3 320, FLAC, or just about any other format you could possibly desire.

lyrics

Tá bean in Éirinn a phronnfadh séad domh is mo sháith le n-ól
Is tá bean in éirinn is ba bhinne léithe mo ráfla ceoil
Ná seinm théad; ‘s tá bean in éirinn is níorbh fhearr léi beo
Mise ag léimnigh nó leagtha i gcré is mo thárr faoi fhód

Tá bean in Éirinn a bheadh ag éad liom mur' bhfaighfinn ach póg
Ó bhean ar aonach, nach ait an scéala, is mo dháimh féin leo;
Tá bean ab fhearr liom nó cath is céad dhíobh nach bhfagham go deo
Is tá cailín spéiriúil ag fear gan Bhéarla, dubhghránna cróin.

Tá bean i Laighnibh is níor mhiste léithe bheith láimh liom ar bord,
is tá bean i bhFearnmhaigh a ghabhfadh véarsaí is sárbhinne glóir
Bhí bean ar thaobh cnoic i gCarraig Éamoinn a níodh gáire ag ól,
is tráth bhí ina maighdin, ní mise d’éignigh dá chois ó chomhair
